Moulded TEK Socket Driver Tool – Precision and Durability for Secure Roofing Installations

Our TEK Socket Driver Tool, for colour moulded hex head TEK screws, is designed to provide the perfect fit for TEK screws, making it the ideal solution for installing roofing sheets and flashings. Crafted from high-grade steel, this tool offers exceptional durability and can withstand high torque output, ensuring you achieve secure and reliable installations every time. The magnetic TEK screw socket helps to keep screws in place, allowing for a smoother and more efficient installation process.

Maximize the efficiency and precision of your roofing installations with the Moulded TEK Socket Driver Tool. Follow these steps to ensure a secure, watertight fit while protecting the colour-matched heads of your fasteners.

1.Attach the Driver Tool:Ensure your drill is set to the correct mode.

Insert the shank of the TEK Socket Driver into your drill or impact driver’s chuck and tighten it securely. Ensure your drill is set to a standard driving mode (not hammer) and adjust the torque setting to a moderate level to prevent stripping.

2.Load the TEK Screw:The magnetic core holds the screw in place.

Insert the colour moulded hex head of your TEK screw directly into the socket. The built-in magnet will grip the head firmly, allowing you to operate the drill one-handed and preventing the screw from dropping during awkward roof installations.

3.Position and Align:

Align the self-drilling tip of the TEK screw exactly where you want to fix the roofing sheet or flashing. Keep the drill perfectly perpendicular (at a 90-degree angle) to the sheet to ensure the screw drives straight and the washer seats evenly.

4.Drive the Screw:Let the self-drilling tip do the work.

Apply firm, consistent downward pressure and start the drill at a medium speed. The TEK tip will cut through the steel sheet and into the purlin below. Maintain your angle as the screw threads engage.

5.Secure and Inspect:Avoid over-tightening to protect the moulded head.

Stop driving as soon as the screw head is flush and the rubber sealing washer is slightly compressed. Do not over-tighten, as excessive torque can crush the washer, damaging the weatherproof seal or cracking the colour moulded plastic head.

  3. Arrival: Your materials arrive ready to fit immediately. Because we cut everything to size, you won’t have to deal with wasted materials or on-site cutting.

Collection & Order Policies

  • No Minimum Order: We believe no job is too small. Whether you need a few sheets for a garden lean-to or a complete system for a commercial warehouse, we provide the same trade prices and dedicated service.

  • Direct Collection: If you prefer to transport the materials yourself, you are welcome to collect your order directly from our manufacturing facility near Birmingham. Simply let us know when placing your order, and we will have it packed and ready for you.
